JCB3-80M Miniature circuit breaker is designed to protect installations from overloads and short circuits, ensuring reliability and safety under all operating conditions.They all comply with IEC 60898-1 and EN 60898-1 standard. JCB3-80M MCBs have a short circuit breaking capacity of 6kA. They are din rail mounted. They all can be made with B, C, D curve. B curves trips off the circuit when the current exceeds 3-5 times the actual current flow and finds its application in the cable protection. C Curve trips off the circuit when the current exceeds 5-10 times the actual current flow and finds its application in the domestic as well as commercial appliances like transformers, fluorescent lighting circuits, IT equipment like personal computers, servers, and printers. D curves trips off the circuit when the current exceeds 10-20 times the actual current flow and offers high resistance. It finds its application in motors.

JCB3-80M MCBs have a positive indication for On or Off and the operating switch may be locked in either position without affecting operation of the trip mechanism.When in the off position the contact gap is 4 mm meaning that the MCB may be used as single pole isolating switch where appropriate.

Housing of JCB3-80M is made of flame-retardant, environmentally friendly, and safe materials. Flame retardant grade up to V1.

JCB3-80M MCBs automatically switch off the electrical circuit during the abnormal conditions of the network and faulty conditions to prevent damage. The defective zone of the electric circuit can easily be detected as its switch operating knob is in the off place during tripping of short circuits.
